台中市55歲葉姓男子平日熱愛路跑運動，日前健康檢查發現肺部有0.6公分大結節；另名廖姓婦人也是健檢才發現肺部有0.9公分結節，兩人手術切除後恢復良好。亞大醫院醫師強調，肺癌已位居十大癌症死因之首，建議接受低劑量電腦斷層檢查，可及早發現治療。
葉男說，自己平常身體狀況不錯，沒有不良嗜好，只偶爾在應酬時抽菸，且長期有路跑習慣，平均每周會到戶外路跑3次、每次至少半小時，去年9月接受太太勸說參加健檢、並選擇低劑量肺部電腦斷層檢查，竟發現肺部有0.6公分大毛玻璃陰影，感到無法接受。
亞大醫院胸腔內科主任黃建文指出，葉男持續追蹤，竟在3個月後發現陰影成長為0.8公分結節。廖姓婦人則透過友人介紹、與丈夫一同接受健檢，意外發現肺部有0.9公分毛玻璃結節，病理檢驗為惡性，切除後恢復良好。
黃建文表示，台灣肺癌已位居十大癌症死因之首，其中肺腺癌發生率成長幅度大，且患者多為不抽菸者，研判其發生原因與廚房油煙、空汙或環境有關係。亞大醫院預防暨社區醫學中心副院長林燦指出，肺部因較無疼痛神經支配，通常出現肺癌症狀已較晚，建議接受電腦斷層篩檢。
黃建文強調，近年來空汙問題嚴重，建議民眾出門運動前先了解空氣品質狀況，若空品太差，最好別出門，在室內可使用空氣清淨機。
